Reaktor Blocks have been a major move forward for the Reaktor platform, which has huge power, but also a lot of complexity. Indeed, Reaktor has been used by NI for developing several standalone new instruments.

However, the Blocks concept has created a more modular style approach with individual modules allowing specific patching and creation of custom synth setups.

We spoke to Dave, who's a long time Reaktor developer and has been building some additional modules to show off the integration possibilities. In this case using standard MIDI output, but also CV using the Expert Sleepers hardware (which gives DC coupled outputs).

Dave showed us some soon to be released Blocks, which give some pretty sophisticated possibilities.

These will be available as downloads soon.
