iZotope continue to celebrate their 15th birthday by giving away another plug-in. The DDLY is a dual dynamic delay with some unique features. With a Top and Bottom delay, incoming signals can be routed via a dynamic threshold system. Transients that meet the threshold level are routed to the top delay, while the rest of the signal is passed to the bottom delay.
Each delay is independently configurable to be Grain or Analog delay types. Both offer pitch shifting too.
Its an interesting take on the standard delay and can create some unique sounds.

The whole project, came about as part of a company wide innovation day, where employees were encouraged to submit ideas, which were then voted on and given the full resources of the engineering and design teams to come to realisation. Sounds like a great place to work!
DDLY is available for free download until March 10th, when it will revert to $49.
