SampleScience has released SMROM, a rompler based on the sound of the SN76489 PSG, the sound chip used in the Sega Master System video game console. They tell us that each sound has been carefully multi sampled to sound as authentic as possible.

Since SMROM is based on a large set of multi sampled instruments, each plug-in is a 800 megs download. Each instrument takes between 2-30megs of RAM to load.
