Keith McMillen Instruments have just released a couple of trailer video for a new four octave multi-touch, multi-dimensional keyboard controller. The K-Board Pro 4. Its got a new form factor with full-sized (ish) velocity, pressure and what appears to be pressure and positional X/Y control for each key. Price expected to be $495

This new breed of controllers is gaining traction with ROLIs recent Seaboard RISE controller, though KMI have always been more affordable. KMI have not released full details on the K-Board Pro4 yet, so stay tuned for more information.

We hope that there will be more software and hardware instruments that support not only poly aftertouch but MDE (multi-dimensional expression). This will be particularly effective if you hook up to CV control for expressive performance of analog gear.
