The BBC's Sound of Song is an amazing documentary series covering the history of music technology and how it affected massive social change since Edison's wax cylinder recording process. It really is a must watch documentary, though sadly the full series is no longer available via the BBC iPlayer, there are some clips available on the series pages on BBC.co.uk- check out the one on crooning.

Anyhow, just spotted this clip, where presenter Niel Brand shows us the classic synth line from Springsteen's "Born In The USA" - which was played on a Yamaha CS80.
