Walrus Audio introduces the Phoenix clean power supply   13-Feb-15

Walrus Audio has announced the Phoenix clean power supply. They tell us that the Phoenix is a 15-output isolated power supply, utilizing two internal custom wound toroidal transformers to provide the highest noise filtering and cleanest power, giving artists the purest sound in their signal chain possible. It is offered in different voltages for use in different parts of the world. Walrus Audio currently has available for preorder the Phoenix 120V for North America and the Phoenix 230V for the European Union and Australia.

All outputs are isolated. There are 15 total outputs, four are rated at 9V, 300mA and can power the larger digital pedals like the Strymon BigSky and Timeline. Eight Outputs are 9V, 100mA. Two outputs include a toggle switch option to run 9V or 12Vand the last output includes a toggle switch option for 9V or 18V. The Phoenix fits under most pedal boards such as the PedalTrain PT-2 and up and Walrus Audio offers a pedal board mounting kit that is sold separately.

Walrus audio says that the Phoenix comes in a durable midnight blue texture enclosure and can more than hold up to the demands of touring. Exact size is 9.75" long, 2.6" wide, 2" high. The artwork features original sketch artwork of a mythical Phoenix character with its wings sprawled across the top of the enclosure in the signature sketch art that Walrus is known for. This unit comes with 15 – 2.1mm barrel black power cables, 2 – 2.1mm barrel red (center positive) cables, and a detachable IEC Cable.
