Swedish audio manufacturer Softube has appointed MSL Professional as exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland. Known for its high-end audio plug-ins, Softube has recently entered the audio hardware arena with the Console 1. This uniquely designed hardware/software mixer solution can be used with any major Digital Audio Workstation. Offering hands-on intuitive control, its software component provides a full-featured mixer channel strip that can be inserted on any or all of the mixer channels in the DAW. The mixer hardware offers physical control of channel strip parameters, enabling a complete mix to be created without using a computer mouse. All settings are saved with the DAW project, ready for instant recall.

Softube's own brand of software plug-ins has been developed in collaboration with hardware manufacturers such as Trident Audio Developments, Valley People, Tube-Tech, Summit Audio and Tonelux Designs. Current products include a variety of channel strips, dynamics modules, effects, EQs and modelling amps. In addition to native versions of the plug-ins, Softube also offers versions that support Pro Tools HDX cards for Pro tools HD and the DSP on Avid live digital consoles, such as the Venue series.
