SSL says that their compact X-Desk has become the centre of high-end project studios where the workflow and sonics of an SSL console are needed, but not hundred of channels. They tell us that a limited number of units are available to purchase at a special discount of 25% off list price, just £1599 inc VAT.

A spokesperson told us, "Only 50 units are available on a first come first served basis.  Once these are sold the promotion is over and no more discounted units will be made available.  This is not an end of life promotion - SSL has no plans to stop manufacturing X-Desk.  This is SSL offering a promotional price on one of its most popular products."
