Gibson has introduced the 1965 J-45, The Donovan Model, with each guitar featuring an autographed label and personal letter from Donovan. They say that, with Pprojection and presence, it's a songwriter's dream.

The guitar features a Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides and authentic 60s-style radiused body. A thin, naturally cured, nitrocellulose finish and matte, textured appearance recreates the look and sound of the original. Nut width is period correct at 1.75" and the guitar also features a LR Baggs Lyric microphone, a bridge plate-mounted microphone system.
