NAMM 2014 - Softstep 2 on show at the Keith McMillen booth - the original Softstep has a keyboard style layout and allows for both pressure and X/Y control per key. The Softstep 2 changes the keys into cross shaped ones which allow for easier X/Y momevent and make the back row (or black keys) higher up so its easier to get to them without accidentally hitting the white keys.

More memory and various other enchancements too.

For the full skinny, check out the KMI site.
