Noisey and D'Addario are presenting a Guitar Moves series special, titled How a Set of Guitar Strings Changed Rock 'n' Roll. In the episode, host Matt Sweeney learns why The Who's John Entwistle used to buy and trash bass guitars (hint: he was in it for the strings); and examines the pivotal role that D'Addario strings played in 60's rock sound, the British Invasion, and the rise of guitar in post-war America.
