Expert Sleepers' - A Silent Way Software suite when combined with one of their DC Coupled CV ouput modules can do an awful lot of modular control, we reviewed it back in 2011 and were blown away. Since then the range of functions has been expanded and the GUI has had a makeover, plus AAX format plugins have been added.

In this video Oz from Expert Sleepers shows how to get the distinctly un-swinging Korg Volca Bass to swing.

A Korg Volca Bass synced to Ableton Live via Expert Sleepers Silent Way plug-ins, with swing.

The Volca series do not natively support swing, but by sending them a 'swung' MIDI clock, it is possible to inject some swing feel into their otherwise very straight sequences.

Silent Way, in conjunction with Expert Sleepers hardware, is capable of generating jitter-free sample-accurate MIDI clock, and moreover of applying swing to that clock.
