Native Instruments has released RESONANT BLAZE, which they describe as a bass music MASCHINE Expansion designed exclusively for the new MASCHINE 2.0 software. A spokesperson told us, "Infused with booming bass sounds, sharp drum kits, cinematic atmospheres, sound effects and loops, RESONANT BLAZE is a perfect fit for producers of drum and bass, as well as contemporary dubstep and trap styles."

Here's more details in NI's own words...

Taking full advantage of the new MASCHINE 2.0 features, RESONANT BLAZE utilizes sidechaining and plate reverb effects in its sound design – adding a level of sonic depth previously not possible in MASCHINE. The 37 sampled drum kits and 250 versatile patterns deliver a diverse variety of sounds and possibilities designed for bass heavy tracks. Many of these drum kits are characterized by sounds designed for the innovative new MASCHINE Drum-Synth modules. An assortment of tempo-synched loops based on the most iconic break in drum and bass adds further authenticity to RESONANT BLAZE.

From heavy sub bass throbs, to punchy leads and atmospheric pads, RESONANT BLAZE uses the ever versatile synth heavyweight, MASSIVE to provide the sonic barrage behind 60 new presets. Brooding, powerful lows channel the aesthetic of jungle and classic drum and bass, while soaring leads and ambient pads provide the energy in the mid and upper ranges. Included with MASCHINE 2.0 software, MASSIVE's cutting edge sounds and presets are directly incorporated into the kits – allowing for smoother, more intuitive performance features and workflow.

RESONANT BLAZE was exclusively designed for the all new MASCHINE 2.0 software features such as Drum-Synths, sidechaining and plate reverb.

Pricing and Availability:

RESONANT BLAZE is available now at the NI Online Shop for $49 / 49 € / ¥ 4,800.
