With a total of 40 mix channels, 12 channels with XLR and line inputs, two stereo inputs, four stereo FX returns plus 8 ADAT IO each with 4 band EQ, compressor and gate you can mix a lot of inputs. Additionally, there are four assignable Omni output (aux/buss out etc).

USB gives you 16 io which is fully integrated into the routing of the desk and allows you to record multiple channels.
