Sonoma Wire Works has announced RiffRumble 23 "Metal," an online song contest for RiffWorks T4 Free, RiffWorks Standard (Mac/Win) and FourTrack (iPhone) recording software users, sponsored by Codella Music. RiffRumble 23 takes place on RiffWorld, Sonoma's  online song posting and collaboration community.

Prize values total over $4000, with the first prize winner receiving a customizable Codella Stormchaser Guitar™, GuitarJack 2 USB audio I/O for desktop and mobile, and more. The contest will be judged by respected tech writer, musician, and co-founder of The Loop website, Jim Dalrymple.

"A great metal song should make you feel something," said Jim Dalrymple. "Whether it's anger or swinging your head around wildly to the beat, great metal songs have a groove and power that you can't ignore."

There is no contest entry fee and no purchase necessary. Enter between October 8th and October 21st, and vote for your favorite song entries by November 4th. See contest page for rules and entry details.
