TC Electronic announces free TonePrints from Ryan Monroe and Bill Reynolds   12-Sep-13

TC Electronic has announced the immediate availability of two brand new TonePrints, signature versions of TC Electronic effects, made with Ryan Monroe and Bill Reynolds from Band Of Horses. These two TonePrints, one for guitar and one for bass, are available immediately and free of charge via the TC website or through the free TonePrint app for iOS and Android.

Tore Mogensen, Business Manager for Guitar at TC Electronic told us,  "I was at these TonePrint sessions, dialing in the sounds. Both Ryan and Bill were really adventurous and pushed things to be more creative, more outlandish, more pronounced. It was lots of fun and really creative and while we ended with effects that are 'out there' they sound so good that they can find a place in many musical styles and ideas."

Here's what TC Electronic has to say about the new TonePrints...

Ryan Monroe provided an excellent guitar TonePrint for Vortex Flanger. Ryan likes his effects to be 'all or nothing'. He likes just plain amp sounds, but from time to time loves to freak out and get some really weird sounds. For this flange TonePrint, the range of the knobs was extended through the TonePrint Editor. This means that at 12'o clock, you're already in the middle of freak-out-mode but you can still tweak enough to dial in a sound that's unique and wacky but still very usable.

Bill Reynolds did a custom take on Flashback Delay, which yielded a unique TonePrint that houses three different sounds. Bill loves his delays, and uses three different delay settings to achieve what he wants to get live. For this TonePrint, Bill made the sounds he uses live available to all. All the way to the left, this TonePrint produces a short, bright delay sound that's great for picking. Set at noon, this TonePrint gives a nice wide delayed sound, where turning things more clockwise yields a really nice gritty saturation.
