Youtube user wouter van Veldhoven has posted a fantastic video of a tape delay setup using a modular setup and four reel-to-reel tape machines.

Techniques shown here include:

Looping, Delay, Reverse Delay and Saturation.

Way to go Wouter, you rock.

Its easy to forget that only a matter of decades ago, this was a technique used extensively in the creation of electronic music.

Worth checking out Wouter's channel for some more electronic madness.
