In addition to the 1073N and 88R-LB hardware unts, AMS-Neve were also showing a software version of the legendary AMS RMX-16 Reverb unit at MusikMesse 2013.
Back in the day, this was a fixture of any recording studio worth their salt, and second-hand units were highly sought-after.

The components used in the original unit are no longer available, so a hardware recreation would be impossible, but the AMS DSP Team worked together with the original designer Mark Crabtree using the Universal Audio SDK to faithfully recreate the original algorithms.

The plugin will be released by UA for their platform later this year - David Walton gives us the story.
