Its no secret that I was impressed with the Behringer X32 digital mixing desk when it came in for review. I was genuinely sorry to see it go, just ticked all the boxes for what I needed and was simple to use. I'm not alone, the X32 has proved to be a big hit for Behringer, they have utilized the technologies that their acquisition of Midas and Klark Teknik have provided into an extremely affordable package.

At NAMM 2013, they announced several new members in the range, from the single rack X32 Core, to the X32 Rack, the X32 Compact and X32 Producer.

I was intrigued to find out how they could be utilised, so at Musik Messe 2013, I was fortunate to get to talk to the product designer Uwe - a very clever man.
