Presonus tells us that if you upgrade to Studio One Professional 2.5 in April, you'll get a free Simon Phillips LoopLoft Drum Library worth $79 and featuring over 400 stereo drum loops in 34 Sessions. Here's the details that they have supplied us with...

WHAT: Real drums played by one of the best drummers in the world.

Master drummer Simon Phillips is famous for his work with The Who, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Mick Jagger, Toto, and many others. In this superb 1 GB collection of essential multitrack drum loops, he lays down groove after amazing groove, inspired by some of rock's greatest moments, from AC/DC, to Led Zeppelin to ZZ Top. No MIDI, no machines--these are real drums played by one of the best drummers in the world.

Throughout 34 Drum Sessions, across a wide range of tempos, Simon Phillips turns in a dynamic performance across a variety of rock styles from British hard rock to Texas blues. Each Drum Session contains all the parts you'll need to create your song (verse, chorus, fills, etc...

These loops are in Studio One Soundset format and include the Studio One Song files so you can launch multiple songs and mix and match loops that timestretch together perfectly.  Check out the video showing you how cool this is!
Simply choose a drum session that matches your tempo and feel, then drag and drop. Mix and match loops from different sets and use the full single-hit collection to add crash cymbals, kicks, or extras to the loops to increase realism or build your own custom kits.
