Tip-Top Audio vs Serge

So some of you may not know who Serge Tcherepnin is, and I certainly hadn't even heard the name Serge until i started investigating modulars. And even then it just kind of popped up in a post and I didn't know what people were talking about. But Serge modular systems started production in 1974 with the premise of creating a powerful, musical and great sounding analog modular system that could be smaller, more compact and most importantly cost less than the Buchla's, Arps and Moogs of the day.

This new collaboration Tip-Top Audio marks a big step in the eurorack format, as they will be working directly with Serge himself

"It is going to be his system and his ideas."

There is lots of fuss about this over at Muffwigglers, so go and check it out.
