Smart Loops has released SL MIDI Drum Loops Volume 6, performed, edited, and produced by professional drummer and Pearl Drums' Artist Frank Basile.
A spokesperson told Sonic State, "Not only are these loops compatible with any program, sample player, and drum software that supports the General MIDI format (which is virtually all of them), but you also get all the loops in an 'Enhanced' version, which offers more hi-hat and snare notes to create truly realistic drum performances when using samples that support these extra notes. All Smart Loops sample sets support the 'Enhanced' MIDI note mapping, along with many other manufacturers including Roland, Cakewalk, etc. If you're not sure, no worries since you get all the loops in both the standard General MIDI mapping, and the 'Enhanced' mapping."
