Been itching to tell you about this, the brand new synthesizer from iZotope. Iris - takes the spectral capabilities of the amazing RX2 spectral repair and analysis program and creates a four oscillator synthesizer - but its so much more.
Whats even more gratifying for us, is that the seeds of the idea were born during our very own Sonic TALK podcast, when the panel were discussing the amazing RX2 technology and how cool it would be to make a synth using it. Regular panelist Dave Spiers became involved in creating that instrument and the result is IRIS.
IRIS will have you working on sound like you would images in Photoshop - its a really intuitive and inventive way to design and create playable keyboard patches. It comes with a 4GB library.
Available now at discounted price of $149 (usually $249) as a digital download, there's also IRIS 2+ $199 (usually $299) which bundles two more libraries: WOOD and GLASS.
Better still, there is an unlimited 10day demo available for download HERE
