From being a small subset of the headphone market a few years back, 'in-ear' designs have seen an enormous boost in popularity, and the choices now are pretty extensive, but the actual driver technology largely falls into two basic types; Dynamic and Balanced Armature.
The new Sony XBA range falls into the latter camp, and offers a number of different models, from single driver to four(!) driver units, and also offers Bluetooth, noise-cancelling and even waterproof variants.
