Above is the fan-shot video of Van Halen performing a song from their new album, the footage was taken at a gig on 5th January.
The band performed at the "Cafe Wha?" in New York, and in their set was the song 'She's The Woman'. Thanks to Jon at Guitar Noize for bringing this to our attention (you can see more of Jon on our guitar show when we get back in the swing of things after NAMM).
The song is being tipped as a new song, but the song sounded a bit familiar to us, and a quick Google search reveals that apparently the song was recorded as a demo with Gene Simmons (as a producer) in the late seventies. Whether or not this is true, we shall leave up to the die-hard Van Halen fans to decide!
The band's new album will be titled A Different Kind Of Truth and will be released on February 7th of this year. The first single will be released on January 10th, and will be titled 'Tattoo'. The release will be followed by an extensive tour of the USA.
