One year ago, in December 2010, Sinevibes introduced its first AudioUnit plug-in in the new series called Turbo which they say gave musicians a new way to easily synthesize unique, spectrally rich sounds by processing very simple waveforms. To celebrate its birthday, Sinevibes has released big updates to Turbo and its bigger bother Turbulence which give them much enhanced user interfaces and new sound shaping features.
Turbo 1.3.0 includes these improvements:
  • Completely new, redesigned user interface with cleaner control shapes and better color contrast
  • New two-stage input filter for smoother sound
  • New "harmonics" control slider
  • Support for parameter automation begin/end gestures
  • User interface screenshot can now be saved in PNG format
Turbulence 1.0.5 brings the following changes:
  • New, full-height running sequence position mark
  • Improved design of sliders, pattern rate selector and step markers
  • New two-stage input filter for smoother sound
  • New "harmonics" control slider
  • Fixes for automation begin gestures
  • New preset patches
Pricing and Availability:
New versions of Turbo and Turbulence are available immediately for $29 and $39, respectively, but can be had with a 30% holiday discount until 1st January. More information:
