Nord Keyboards have released a free software update (v1.40) which adds the Long Release function from the Nord Stage 2 and Nord Electro 3 HP to the Nord Piano. With Long Release activated you get a slightly longer release more suitable for legato playing. This important feature reflects adjusting the damper tension in an acoustic or an electromechanical instrument.
The Long Release can be activated globally in the Nord Piano's Sound Menu and works on acoustic and selected electric pianos version 5.3 or later.
Nord tell us that the OS update also addresses a few display issues and improves pedal up/down voice allocation.
