JZ Microphones has introduced their newest Vintage series microphone – the V11, which they tell us has a
budget-friendly price and is available for pre-order.
A JZ Spokesman told us, "The V11 is turning point for the praised Vintage series with absolutely new microphone design which
follows the same vintage traditions and qualities as all the JZ Microphones products. It is not a version or
replica of classic and legendary microphones such as U47, U67 or C12 and the number 11 stands for a 2011
as reference year when a new classic microphone has been created. Vintage 11 is dedicated for everyone
who loves recording in highest quality possible and wants something better than all known studio
standards."
JZ Microphones introduced the Vintage series two years ago with the aim to re-create vintage microphones
and to unite classic qualities of the originals in combination with innovative technologies that provide
various enhancements, such as the Golden Drop sputtering technique which provides a more detailed and
transparent capsule response. The Vintage series includes V47, V67 and V12 large diaphragm cardioid
condenser microphones, and they have gained enormous popularity and have been used in many records,
like "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga, "Lovestrong" by Christina Perri, and the series have achieved
recognition from Multi-Grammy winners and sound engineers Rafa Sardina (Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Shakira,
Dr. Dre...) and Joe Chiccarelli (U2, The White Stripes, The Strokes...). Pricing and Availability:
