An inspirational music lesson run by Store Van Music's Neil Johnston - this is what can happen when you have serious resources and an enthusiastic teacher. Ticks all the boxes, they've even got a quote from Mr Sting (used to be a teacher himself y'know).
I know it does rather come across as an Apple ad, but this event is excellently put together by Neil Johnston and conducted in true Gareth Malone style - lets hope there's more of this to come. I remember music lessons in my school being somewhat less enjoyable than this - my own path into music through wanting to be in a band and repeat the euphoric feeling of jamming or participating in music creation that was relevant to me - which is kind of what is going on here.
I imagine the tech setup for this lesson was pretty fun too - I spotted an abundance of M-Audio controllers, Euphonics/Avid Artist Series Controllers, ADAM monitors - anyone spot any more?
