Californian funk-pop veterans, Red Hot Chili Peppers, have announced the title and release date of their tenth studio album I'm With You.

The album will be released on August 30th, 2011, and will be the band's first since Stadium Arcadium in 2006. On July 18th, fans will get a taster of the album when RHCP release the leading single, which is to be titled The Adventures of Raindance Maggie.

The Chili's made the announcement on their website yesterday:

"Red Hot Chili Peppers are excited to announce that their new album will hit stores on august 30, 2011!! The new album is produced by Rick Rubin and is titled I'm With You.

Keep checking back for more updates."

This will be the first album to feature Josh Klinghoffer as an official member of the band, and will be the first album not to feature John Frusciante since One Hot Minute in 1995. Frusciante left the band in 2009 to focus on his solo career.
