This is the last of our pieces filmed at the Short Circuit Mute Event in May 2011. We caught up with Andreas Schneider - the guy behind the legendary Berlin based synth retailer Schneiders Buero. They've supplied Mute artists and producers (and countless others) with experimental electronic musical instruments and modular systems for many years.

Now they have a remote showroom at Rough Trade Records in London, where you can try out some modular gear and ring a hotline in Berlin for assistance. The Carousel is their touring modular environment - a six-bay modular system which rotates at 1 revolution every 15 minutes and gives passers-by a way to get their hands on some real electronic synthesis.
