So on the day that iPad 2 news smacks us in the face like a freight train, there is also the (far more important) announcement of a Garage Band release for iPad. We will certainly be road testing this ASAP on our prehistoric iPad 1.0, of which the very admitance of owning will now get us labelled as social outcasts.
Garage Band will be kind of like Beat Maker 2, which we have filmed a review for, it will feature a lot of touch instruments, guitar amps/effects, 8 track recorder, 250 loops, and full capability with the Mac version of the software. It'll also be cheaper, initally weighing in at just $4.99.
More news as we get it!
White iLoud monitors and a new modelling guitar pedal
CV controlled mixing console and some distinctly dirty effects
Underrated synths, DAWs and more
Ensembles and solos - coming soon
Smaller tracker with larger memory and lower latency
Flexible and responsive polyphonic controller that you can hit with sticks
