Are you ready for "printed" 3D instruments?

This video takes a documentary look at 3D Printed Flute - a project of the MIT Media Lab. The goal is to create an instrument via 3D printing that works as a traditional instrument. 

It's a fascinating video - and it suggests that prototyping any type of instrument may soon be within reach as a DIY project for musicians.
