Lynx have announced the LT-USB USB 2.0 Lslot interface for the Lynx Aurora 16 and Aurora 8 converters. Here's what they have to say about it...
This compact add-on card, mounted in the back of an Aurora converter, provides up to 16 I/O channels of 24 bit 96 kHz digital audio or 8 channels at 192 kHz. Compatible with both Mac and PC, the LT-USB is controlled via the Aurora Remote Control program that is shipped with the card, offering 16 x 16 mixing capabilities as well as extensive control options.
"Over the past few years, more and more of our end-users have begun to employ laptop computers for multichannel recording, both in the studio and for remote applications. At this time, USB 2.0 is the best, most stable option for an audio interface with these computers," stated Bob Bauman, Lynx Co Founder and Chief Hardware Engineer. "The LTUSB allows Aurora owners to take advantage of its single rack-space size to create a powerful, extremely portable pro-quality studio. Add a one space mic preamp, a computer, some mics and cables and you're ready to go."
The LT-USB adds to the wide variety of pro audio interfaces available for the Aurora 8 and Aurora 16 converters.
