Andy Rehfeldt, who's previously created smooth jazz versions of Metallica's Enter Sandman and turned the Jonas Brothers into Death Metal singers, is back with another demented revisioning.
This time, he's got Iron Maiden doing bossa nova.
Rehfeldt modus operandi is to take an a capella vocal for a popular music video and then use it as the basis for a version of the song in a completely different style. By keeping the remake the same tempo, he's able to marry the remake with the original video, with bizarre results.
The result? Katy Perry in a metal band, KISS doing reggae and Ozzy's smooth jazz version of Crazy Train. It's all a bit wrong - but Rehfeldt's guitar chops almost make it right.
