SONIC TALK 164 - LIVE
Extreme weather everywhere at present, but all my guests are wrapped up and Skyped up in their respective locations.

Our panel this week consists of Rich Hilton - Nile Rodger's main man and grammy winning engineer, producer and player - just off to a session to record bass, and Dave Spiers -from GForce Software - who's taken a break from voicing the impOscar II to join us. We also have Mark Tinley , creative thinker and sound artist from Bedfordshire.

First we check out the iConnect, a MIDI interface that connects with the iPod/iPhone, then Barry Woods Namm oddities,a trip down memory lane with the online Steinberg Museum, Ski Beats and his Ableton Live warping techniques and finally a load of birds jumping around on amplified Les Paul guitars as art.
