We brought you news of the d-touch drum machine a couple of months ago. d-touch tell us that they have now have added a sequencer and have a new video online.
Here's the details from d-touch...
We have just released 2 novel and unique music applications with a physical interface that you can download for free and build at home - all you need is a computer (PC or mac) with a webcam and a printer.
d-touch is a visual markers recognition system that enables the development of low-cost tangible user interfaces and mixed reality applications. d-touch supports markers that are both machine-readable and visually communicative to humans. We use advanced image processing to recognize the physical markers and play sounds.
The system is freely and fully available for download from our website because it is part of an academic research project in human-computer interaction: we are remotely observing how people use it (details of what, how and why we are recording are on the website).
