VocaForm is a new monophonic performance synthesizer instrument for the iPhone / iPod Touch.

VocaForm uses formant synthesis to mimic resonant body sounds such as a voice. The results are similar to vintage 8-Bit console sounds.

The main screen is optimized to allow easy access to the most useful parameters. Detailed sound adjustments can be performed in the editing screens.

Features:

  • 2 octave, Moveable-Do keyboard.
  • Responsive, touch-based vibrato
  • Adjust each sound by editing 5 formant regions
  • Editable ADSR envelope
  • Accelerometer controlled volume

Planned enhancements included the addition of Digital Delay Effects Processing.

Pricing and Availability

VocaForm is available now in the App store for $1.99.
