SONIC TALK 140 - LIVE.
So, we took a break last week - which was nice. But we're back with force - GForce to be precise - Dave Spiers from GForce Software joining me in the studio in person - which is why we are a little late today (use your imaginations!). Also Rich Hilton, back from his Caribbean island studio installation and in full fidelity. First up a big Happy Birthday to Dave Robinson who we would hope is felling a little delicate (but in a good way) after his celebrations from last night too.

We start off with the news that Mackie have written a Universal drive which pairs up with Digidesign's M-Powered Pro Tools, then it's on to Logic 9 and all that has to offer, followed by a look at the application Dave has been working on with the Underwold folks which was released yesterday, followed by talk of the Anniversary Fairlight CMI 30A, we get some extra information from Peter Vogel himself. Then it's the emotional robot band, some new gear for Rich and we're done.

This week, Nick sticks with  the Røde Procaster, a dynamic mic with more than a nod to the looks of the classic ElectroVoice RE20, - we're waiting for some more mice to try out, hopefully next week,. Thanks to SourceDistribution.co.uk for lending us this to check out.
