The news item has already been posted on these new budget controllers from Korg, but we were lucky enough to get some quality time with Ian Bradshaw who was looking after the new models at LIMS. In the flesh, they are plastic and lightweight - nine channel Kontrol might slip about under some vigorous faderidge, the but at the cost they are really hard to beat for chucking in the bag with your laptop.
