SONIC TALK 084 - PJ's getting married! So this is a sort of bachelor party episode, although from what I hear, we'll be hard pressed to compete with his real one. Still we'll do our best to leave him tied to a lampost with in his pants with a sill hat on - virtually of course, and wish him and Mrs PJ all the best. Joining me for the party this week are, of course PJ Tracy Minneapolian composer and studio owner, Rich Hilton glowing after his Gala performance with Nile Rodgers, Patti Labelle, Slash and others at the weekend, reclusive producer Mark Tinley and Dave Spiers of GForce Software. We start by drooling over the wonderful treasure trove that is the rare gadgets at Wired.com, ponder Leon Theremin's thrilling life and why no g-force-o-mometer and Citroen DS? Then it's on to Metallica and downloads and of course Some Kind of Monster doc, the scary prospect of an MP3 tax in the UK, some real joy with the B52's remix competition and finally Apple clones on sale - good or no? A big thanks to Dave from Richmond Virginia for sending in a snippet of his Evolver and Kaoss pad 3 - keep em coming! Remember...
