Universal Audio has announced that the 5 disc Pro Workshops multi-language DVD series is immediately available for purchase at the UA online store. Developed by Friedemann Tischmeyer in Germany, the series focuses on in-the-box mixing and mastering and UA say it is the most complete educational series of its type in existence. To mark this launch, from NAMM until the end of January 2008, UA is offering registered UAD users a $20 promotional coupon that can be used for preferred pricing on the individual DVD's or special discount bundles at their online store.
Mike Barnes, UA's VP of Marketing, told us, "The Pro Workshops DVD-ROM series uses the UAD-1 and other leading plug-ins for its excellent tutorial examples and makes an essential companion for users of all levels to get the most out of the UAD experience. With the democratization of digital audio and products such as the UAD-1 offering truly professional sonic quality at consumer prices, this has opened the door to many novices and weekend-warriors that have a thirst for knowledge.
