Elektron have been in touchto announce the successors to their current line up – the MKII versions of the Machinedrum and the Monomachine.
The differences compared to the previous models are many. Slimmer design and improved sound quality are among some of the hardware updates. The machines are also shipped with switched mode power supplies, which mean the units are ready for action all across the globe. Some unit-specific feature updates are:
  • The Machinedrum SPS-1 MKII/SPS-1UW MKII gets more steps per pattern and the sampling memory of UW version is increased.
  • The Monomachine SFX-60 MKII now has the ability to host user waveforms for customized wavetables.
