Launched at the 2007 Frankfurt Musikmesse, Steinberg’s Sequel entry-level music creation and performance software is now available as a free trial version. Visitors to www.sequel-music.net can download the trial version, which includes all the features from the Sequel retail release version. The free Trial version includes a reduced content set and can run for up to 45 days.
Frank Simmerlein, Steinberg’s Director of Marketing, tells us, “Sequel offers a uniquely intuitive and fun way to start producing your own music on a computer in just a few minutes. The new trial version is an ideal opportunity to find out just how easy making music on a computer can be."
Steinberg say that Sequel features studio-grade technologies within a unique, ‘one- Window’ user interface that opens up music creation and performance to anyone with a computer, and requires no knowledge of music or recording to produce great-sounding songs and mixes in just a few minutes.

Sequel is priced at €99.00 and is available worldwide at music instrument stores.
