Well, although it’s pure speculation on our part, there’s a chance that Apple might just have something to say about Logic 8 next week, but don’t hold your breath…
The fact is, though, that the company have scheduled a special event at the Moscone West venue in San Francisco on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. to announce music-related news. Judging by the picture that they are using to promote the event they will be making announcements relating to iTunes and the iPod series – the most likely contender being an updated iPod nano.
The slogan being used for the event, ‘The beat goes on’ is rather curious, it being the last four words from The Beatles last ever press release issued by Apple Records on April 10, 1970 following the split-up of the band. This has prompted speculation in some quarters that Apple will be making an announcement about Beatles music on iTunes.
Whatever is announced we’ll be bringing you the news as soon as we get it.
