Special pricing will be available at the event, and is only available during the duration of the webcast. Details on the specials and how to order them online will be provided during the webcast. An archive of the webcast will be available soon after the event.
Numark’s resident DJ Mike Hosker will be providing the beats and demonstrations, while other Numark representatives will be on-location to answer questions.
Numark’s own descriptions of the products to be demonstrated follows…
iDJ2
iDJ2 is the only iPod mixing console that provides full control of your music with real–time scratching, a full-color screen and crate management. With iDJ2 you can change tempo without affecting pitch; even play or mix two songs simultaneously from a single iPod without the need of a computer. iDJ2 comes complete with line inputs for audio sources including a microphone, CD players and turntables. iDJ2 also works with USB thumb drives or external hard drives, and supports iPod docking and charging.
VIRTUAL VINYL
Virtual Vinyl is the most reliable DJ hardware and software solution that lets you scratch, mix and sample digital audio and video files on your computer using any analog turntable, CD player or HD player. Virtual Vinyl comes complete with a custom USB audio interface, time code CDs and records, and more.
CUE
Numark's performance tested, professional–level software and a computer are all you need to create the ultimate mix. Play, scratch and mix your Audio, Video, and Karaoke files with ease. This complete solution allows you to output your masterpiece to your sound and video system. Use CUE's built–in broadcast functionality to podcast on the web.
DJ|iO
DJ|iO is the DJ audio interface for all DJ software. With the high-quality DJ|iO, DJs and Producers can pass audio from their software–based application of choice through the USB 2.0 connection on the DJ|iO to a traditional DJ mixer using the built-in pair of stereo RCA connections. In addition, you can bypass the DJ mixer entirely and use the the DJ|iO’s _ Microphone input and headphone output to cue your mix in software.
TOTAL CONTROL
Numark’s Total Control is a DJ software controller for DJs who yearn for the control they left behind when they switched from a traditional mixer to the multi–processing power of laptop DJing. Total Control is a fully class–compliant USB MIDI device and is the ultimate tool for any performing computer DJ seeking total control of their software. Both CUE LE and Traktor LE are included with the system to get you performing right out of the box.
NuVJ
The NuVJ allows DJs to incorporate images and video clips in much the same way as mixing music. With the NuVJ, the VJ can trigger images and video clips, add effects to them, mix them through an onboard DJ style cross-fader and tweak them in order to create unique and spectacular shows. Much the way that light shows have been important to DJs, NuVJ is a must-have for amazing visual performances.
