PreSonus Audio has announced the FirePod, which they describe as the world’s best-selling firewire recording system, is now $399 (estimated street price in the USA.)
The FirePod is a 10 input, 10 output, Mac and Windows-compatible firewire recording system complete with eight Class A XMAX preamplifiers, MIDI and SPIDF input/output as well as the ProPak Software Suite featuring Cubase LE and over 2 GB of plug-ins, drum loops and samples.
