Sinevibes has announced a feature enhancement release for its Gateboy and Space Oscillator Audio Unit plug-ins. They tell us that the interfaces of both plug-ins received new sleek graphics and include several pleasant usability improvements. Among other added features, the step sequencers in Gateboy and Space Oscillator have been redesigned to support the "swing" function and new elementary envelope shape, which dramatically increases the amount of possible modulation patterns and musical applications. In addition, the user manuals and factory patches have been refined in accordance to the new features.
Space Oscillator 1.1.0 changes:
  • Improved user interface with new graphics
  • New effect: polyphonic waveshaper
  • New step sequencer envelope shape: dip (falling and rising, shapable)
  • Variable “swingâ€� function in step sequencer
  • Output level control
  • Sequencer sliders and switches now get disabled according to sequence length
  • New factory patches
Gateboy 1.1.0 changes:
  • New step sequencer envelope shape: dip (falling and rising, shapable)

  • Reset buttons for sequencer sliders and switches

New plug-in versions are immediately available and are free to all current users. For new users, the plug-ins can be purchased alone ($19/€15 for Gateboy, $29/€23 for Space Oscillator), or as part of the complete Sinevibes Audio Unit bundle.
