You may (or may not) have been following with interest the progress of the new A.I.R. Division of Digidesign’s progress on their new Structure sampler plug-in from when it was first announced at the Winter NAMM show earlier this year to the current phase of public beta. It’s rather incredible, but there is a derth of sampler plugs for the RTAS forma – not forgetting MOTU’s Mach 5 or course. We caught up with ace product specialist Phil Jackson (remember his epic Logic 6 demo anyone?) who gave us a close-up and personal view of where Structure currently is. As if that wasn’t enough, Peter Gorges the man behind the plug tops off the presentation with his view on it’s capabilities – who tells us it will be ready by the end of May 2007. Enjoy
