All the Apple Stores closed down for an update at the start of the Apple event in San Francisco today so we knew that there would be something new on sale and what we got are revised versions of the iPods as widely predicted and the introduction of iTunes 7 with support for full-length movies. Here’s the basic iPod details…
iPod Shuffle
Completely redesigned. The world’s smallest digital music player at just 1.62 inches long clips onto your sleeve, lapel or belt. Capacity is 1GB, it holds up to 240 songs and it costs $79.
iPod Nano

iPod
Now available in a 30GB version for a lowered price of $249 and a new 80GB version replacing the previous 60GB for $349. There is a 60% brighter display, up to 75% more battery life and new features include a search function and automatic gapless playback.
